Special Olympics Maine Basketball Team Update

Here's and update on what's happening with the Team Maine basketball team at this year’s 2014 Special Olympics USA Games.

'Team Maine' lost in overtime by 1 point to Pennsylvania today. Coach Brian Hamel says it was a heck of a game.

Players were back and forth throughout the game and Team Maine was up by 2 with 30 seconds left when Pennsylvania made a 3 pointer. Team Maine came back and got a basket to go up by 1. Pennsylvania got one more basket -- Team Maine was fouled with 0.2 seconds left on the clock but missed both free throws.  Coach Hamel says he almost had a heart attack

These are still seeding games to decide what division Team Maine will appear in for the medal rounds on Thursday.
