For a second straight night the Boston Red Sox mashed the ball all over Fenway Park, beating the Oakland A's 13-5. Travis Shaw drove in five runs. Hanley Ramirez hit a 468-foot home run. JBJ made it a 16-game hit streak.

All in all, another fun night at Fenway.

The Sox gave journeyman pitcher Sean O'Sullivan eight runs in the first three innings to make his debut a success. He ended up giving up four runs in six innings of work.

Ramirez had three hits, Shaw had three hits, including a 2-run homer. He had five RBI. Even Chris Young had three hits. In total, the Sox pounded out 16 hits.

At 20-13 the Sox are seven games over .500 for the first time since 2013. They are tied with the O's for first place.
