The Boston Red Sox continued to beat up on the Minnesota Twins on Saturday afternoon as they cruised to a 15-4 win in the second game of the series.

The Sox were able to score early and often against Minnesota, jumping out to a four run lead in the first inning against Kyle Gibson, including a three-run home run by Jackie Bradley Jr.  The Twins would rally back and tied the score at four in the fifth inning against Eduardo Rodriguez.  Boston would retake the lead in the top of the sixth on a sacrifice fly by Hanley Ramirez before the Sox would put up 10 runs in the final two innings to secure the win with ease.

Heath Hembree earned the win in relief with a scoreless frame after taking over for Rodriguez.  The lefty starter only lasted 4.2 innings on the hill, allowing four runs on six hits and four walks.  In addition to JBJ's 10th home run of the season, Bogaerts hit his 8th long ball of the season and added three RBIs.

The Sox moved back into first place in the American League East with the win and a Baltimore loss to Toronto.  Boston will conclude the three game series tomorrow and will look for the sweep when they send Rick Porcello to the mound against Pat Dean.  First pitch is scheduled for just after 2 p.m. on Sunday.
