Sox Give A’s Walk-Off Win [VIDEO]

A 9th inning walk, double and error scored the only run of the game. Eduardo Rodriguez lost his no-hitter with two outs in the 8th inning with a replay overturn. The mighty Sox bats were held to six hits. It all spells a frustrating 1-0 for the Red Sox on getaway day in Oakland.

Craig Kimbrel took the loss when he could not get an out in a 0-0 game in the bottom of the 9th.

E-Rod pitched his best game in a Sox uniform. Eight innings of one hit, no run ball.

After pounding A's pitching for two days, the Sox could muster only six hits - Dustin Pedroia and Yoan Moncada had two each.

The heartbreaking loss drops the Sox(76-60) one game behind Toronto in the AL East.

On this Labor Day, the Sox are in San Diego to play the Padres. The Blue Jays play the Yankees.
