Shania Twain is sharing a new song off her upcoming record Now called "Soldier," which will also appear a new movie titled Thank You for Your Service.

The song is a powerful ballad about the sacrifice military service members and their families make and speaks to the challenge of returning home to civilian life after experiencing the unique and often extreme circumstances of serving our country. The movie centers around this concept, focusing on life after the military, and is slated to release in October.

Twain posted the trailer for the film on Twitter, which includes her song as the soundtrack and shows clips of soldiers and their families, some scenes in war zones and others in stateside backyards, as the veterans try to balance the harsh reality of their experiences juxtaposed with quote-unquote normal life.

Has anybody seen my soldier standing all alone? / Has anybody seen my soldier just trying to get home?” Twain sings in the chorus. The melancholy tune certainly speaks to this struggle, but it still has an air of hope about it, which seems to be the same tone of the upcoming film. See the full trailer above.

Twain’s new record Now is set to be released Sept. 29 and includes her latest releases, “Life’s About to Get Good,” “Swingin’ with My Eyes Closed,” and “Poor Me.” She has said the album will be an honest reflection of her life over the last few years, including her divorce from former producer Mutt Lange and battling through dysphonia, a vocal condition requiring years of therapy that was the result of Lyme disease. But now (no pun intended), she is back in the saddle after 15 years, and fans are here for it.

Twain recently announced she’ll be headed out on a massive Now Tour in May of 2018.
