Superstar Shania Twain has never been one to do things small, but she topped herself on Wednesday (Nov. 14) by arriving for her upcoming Las Vegas residency on horseback -- accompanied by a herd of an additional 40 horses.

According to the Associated Press, nine wranglers escorted Twain as she rode up to a temporary stage outside of Caesars Palace, where she paraded around for a photo op before dismounting to attend a reception of several hundred people. Police diverted traffic for half an hour to keep the spectacle from becoming a logjam in the streets of Las Vegas.

The singer is set to kick off her show 'Shania: Still the One' at the Colosseum in Caesars Palace on Dec. 1. The show is slated to run for two years, featuring a multi-media production that will take fans through Twain's entire career, during which she has sold more than 75 million albums worldwide to become one of the best-selling female artists in country music history.

“My vision is to bring the atmosphere of each song alive through multi-dimension sensory [experiences] and share the journey of my life and career with the audience from a unique perspective,” the singer said in June.
