Shania Twain said that she was retiring from the road following her 2015 Rock This Country Tour, which is disappointing because, man, does she know how to put on a show! Lights, pyrotechnics, plenty of costumes -- you name it, the country star used it.

After her 1995 album The Woman in Me and her 1997 release Come on Over turned Twain into a global superstar, the singer embarked on her Come on Over Tour in 1998 and 1999, giving fans an epic arena-tour experience. Her 2012-2014 Las Vegas residency, Shania: Still the One was similarly filled with smoke, stage presence ... and a flying motorcycle (seriously).

Thanks to her high-production concerts and immense popularity in the 1990s, Twain is part of the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the Canadian Music Hall of Fame and, in 2017, will have an exhibit about her life and career at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. She's been talking about new music for years now and, in October of 2016, told The Boot that it will be “more diverse than any other album I’ve ever done.”
