School Bus Crash in Molunkus
A school bus with students onboard went off the road around 8:00am Friday on Route 2 in Molunkus.

Bus driver Marilyn Hersom, 75, of Kingman, was southbound on Route 2 when she lost control of the bus on slippery roads, according to the Aroostook County Sheriff’s Department.
The bus hit a large snow bank head on, spun sideways and came to rest in a snow bank. Hersom was transported by ambulance to the Millinocket Hospital with injuries that are not life threatening.
There were two students on the bus, both of whom were not injured. The damage to the bus is estimated at more than $5,000.
