When the Red Sox close out their series in Atlanta they will not have the services of third baseman Pablo Sandoval who has been suspended one game by the team.Sandoval violated the social media rule of Major League Baseball and the Red Sox when his intagram account liked a couple photos of a women in Atlanta while the game was going on.

Sandoval supposedly went to the restroom during the 7th inning wen the "likes" took place. Manager John Farrell has a policy that all electronic devices are to be turned off 40 minutes prior to the game and not turned on until the game ends.

Prior to the series finale Sandoval apologized to the coaching staff and players. He will be able to get back in the line-up when the Sox start a series in Kansas City Friday night.
