Safe Homes Aroostook is holding their 'MOVE to End Homelessness' 5K fun run or walk on the bike path and sidewalks in Presque Isle on May 4th, 2014.

Runners will start at the University of Maine at Presque Isle's Gentile Hall. Traffic will be managed to help runners cross roads, there will be five water stations to re-hydrate, and two optional routes for those wanting to cut their run a little short.

The first 200 participants receive a 2nd annual event t-shirt and the first 300 registered receive a pedometer (courtesy of Healthy Aroostook), a water bottle, and a silicone wristband. There will also be prizes for top fund raisers and teams with the most participants, drawings for raffle prizes, and activities in the gym at Gentile for children to enjoy.

SCHEDULE:

Noon – 1:00pm – On-site registration, pre-registered sign in, pledge $ submission
1:00pm – 4:30pm – Event time
4:30pm – 5:00pm – Recognition of top fundraisers & raffle prize drawings
