River Racing Season Begins With St. George
While many downriver racers and racing fans think of the Kenduskeag Stream Race at this time of year, it is tomorrow's St. George River Race that gets the season underway.
The St. George race starts at 11am at the bridge in Searsmont Village.
It's a 6-mile course that features flat water and Class II and III rapids.

NOTE: The 50th annual Kenduskeag Stream Cane Race is Saturday, April 16th. Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket will have special live coverage starting at 8am.
