Reward Offered After Electrical Wire Theft in Hartland, N.B.
A cash reward is being offered in relation to the theft of electrical wire in the town of Hartland, New Brunswick.
Members of the Hartland Fire Department say electrical wire worth well over $5,000 was stolen out of a trailer at the town garage located in the industrial park. The wire was stolen sometime between Tuesday, July 15th and Saturday, July 19th.
The Fire Department uses the electrical wire each year for the Hartland Trade Show.
Hartland Fire Department Fire Chief Mike Walton and the 30 Volunteer members are dedicated trained fire fighters. When not fighting fires they are out fundraising for new fire equipment with events including their annual trade show and the firemen breakfasts. This is a big loss to their department.
If you have any information on who may have been responsible for the theft, you're asked to call 506-325-8189.
A $1,000 cash reward is being offered. Tips can remain anonymous.
