Residents from western New Brunswick, served by the Woodstock and Perth-Andover RCMP detachments, including communities between the Plaster Rock area and the Canterbury area, are encouraged to attend a Community Policing Forum.

The forum is to learn more about their policing service and meet some of their local RCMP members.

“The Community Policing Forum is an opportunity for residents to meet their local police force, find out more about what we do and what the priorities are in the area,” says Sgt. J.P. MacDougall, the Woodstock RCMP detachment commander. “It’s also a time for us to hear from the community and address any concerns they may have.”

The event was postponed in January due to poor weather. It is being held on March 21, 2016 at Carleton North High School in Florenceville-Bristol from 6 to 8 p.m.
