Paul, has been traveling the country, performing more than 150 concerts annually, but on Jan. 12, the singer returns home. Paul will be inducted in the Presque Isle Hall of Fame. It was at PIHS where Paul was a star runner, which earned him a sports scholarship to Boston College.

“We are so pleased to host Ellis Paul for a very special hometown concert, and to welcome one of the region’s favorite local performers for his opening act,” UMPI President Linda Schott said. “Not only will this be a great night of music, but also a wonderful opportunity for our students and our community to see the amazing things one of our Aroostook County natives has been able to accomplish in the world of music.”

Winner of unprecedented 15 Boston Music Awards, Paul remains one of America’s top folk songwriters, whose music was used in several movie blockbusters such as ‘Me, Myself and Irene,’ ‘Hall Pass’ and ‘Shallow Hal.’

You can see Paul perform on Jan. 12 at Wieden Auditorium at UMPI. Tickets are on sale for $20 and $15 for seniors and students.
