Reba McEntire isn't sitting home crying after announcing her separation from her husband and manager, Narvel Blackstock.

The country superstar and her longtime spouse announced they are ending their marriage on Monday (Aug. 3), and just days later she sat down for an interview to promote her brand-new single, "Until They Don't Love You." She took the opportunity to thank her fans for their loyalty.

“I just appreciate all the fans’ support and love that they’ve always given me," she tells Nash Country Weekly. "We’ll just continue to enjoy our music and time together as we always have.”

The country icon released a new album, Love Somebody, in April, and so far the singles are showcasing her feistier side. "Going Out like That" is a song about shaking off a breakup, and "Until They Don't Love You" is a fun, high-energy track with strong instrumentation and layered backing vocals. McEntire has been making the rounds to promote the project, and though she and Blackstock have announced they will continue their professional relationship, she admits she doesn't know what the future holds.

“[I’m looking forward] to the unknown. I look forward to what’s next. People always ask me, ‘What are you going to do next?’ Well, I dunno, God hasn’t told me yet. God is my manager, my tour manager, my scheduler, everything, and He’ll come up with the greatest things," she says. "He’s the one who gave me Annie Get Your Gun and the Reba TV show and presents those things to me. And He always lets me have the choice of refusing and saying, ‘No, I don’t want to do that,’ but I know He’ll give it to someone else, so I always step up and say, ‘I’ll take it.’”
