RCMP Seize Thirty Marijuana Plants in Blissfield
The Northeast District RCMP seized 30 mature marijuana plants following a search at a residence in Blissfield, N.B.
The search was conducted on August 28, 2015, by Doaktown RCMP with assistance from the Sunny Corner RCMP Crime Reduction Unit and Miramichi Police Force Dog Services. Police also seized prescription pills, stolen property and a firearm.
According to police, a 51-year old Blissfield man was arrested and is scheduled to appear in Miramichi Provincial Court in November 2015. A number of drug-related charges are possible.
