RCMP Seize Hundreds of Marijuana Plants in Southeast N.B.
Southeast District RCMP say they have seized approximately 1300 marijuana plants, as well as a firearm, after searches of two properties in Saint-André-Leblanc.
Mounties conducted the searches last Thursday, one on Square Lake Road and the other on Moulin Road, following tips from the public.
Police said they seized 900 plants from one property and 400 plants from the other. This would have been enough marijuana to produce up to 650,000 joints.
The firearm was found inside a shed on one of the properties.
The investigation is ongoing.
