Codiac Regional RCMP are seeking the public’s help to identify the suspect in an attempted armed robbery at a convenience store in Moncton, N.B.

On August 3, at around 8:40 p.m., a man entered Handi’s Convenience, located on Second Avenue, armed with a knife and demanded money, police said. The suspect was chased off by the employee and fled on foot, heading north, towards Mountain Road. The suspect left empty handed and no one was injured.

According to police, the suspect is described as a Caucasian man with a slim build. He was wearing a dark coloured long sleeve shirt, sneakers and a dark coloured baseball cap.
