UPDATE: Rivière-Verte RCMP have found the body of a missing 44-year-old woman from Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska, New Brunswick.  RCMP say her body was found late in the day on Friday.  Investigators have determined that foul play is not suspected in the woman's death. No further details were released.

EARLIER STORY:

The RCMP is asking for the public's help in locating a missing woman in northwestern New Brunswick.

Police say that 44-year-old Normande Chantal Martin of Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska was last seen in her vehicle Tuesday evening, August 26. Shortly before midnight she contacted a family member and has not been heard from since. Her family reported her disappearance to police as they are concerned for her well-being.

Martin is described as 5'5", approximately 165 lbs with a medium build. She has green eyes and dark brown hair. Police say she was last seen driving her vehicle, a 2008 blue Chevrolet HHR, 4 door, with New Brunswick license plate GRD 963.
