RCMP Investigating After Woman’s Body Found In Saint John River, Clearview, NB

West District RCMP is investigating after the body of a woman was discovered in the Saint John River in Clearview, north of Florenceville-Bristol, N.B. on Wednesday.

Police said, they received a call shortly before 11:15 a.m. that a body was floating in the Saint John River.

Police are unsure how long the body has been in the river but it does not appear that the death was recent. An autopsy will be conducted to confirm the age and identity of the women as well as the cause of death, according to police

The investigation is continuing.
