In the early morning hours of March 20, the Woodstock RCMP responded to an incident at a pub in Juniper where a man sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

On March 23, as a result of the investigation, police said, a charge of committing an assault with a weapon was laid in Woodstock Provincial Court against 21-year-old Christopher Mark Hamilton, of Bath. An arrest warrant was issued at that time for his apprehension, and police have been unable to locate him.

We believe there are people in the community who know the whereabouts of Christopher Hamilton,” says Cst. Emily Rafuse of the Woodstock RCMP. “Anyone believed to be helping someone charged with a crime can themselves face charges of being an accessory after the fact for the same crime.”

Christopher Hamilton is described as a Caucasian man, approximately 5’7” tall, and weighing approximately 150 lbs. He is of medium build, and has brown hair and green eyes, according to the RCMP.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Christopher Hamilton is asked to contact the Woodstock RCMP at 506-325-3000.
