Rams Vs Eagles On 92.9 The Ticket

The #1Bangor Rams and the #4Messalonskee Eagles meet today for the right to go to the Eastern Maine title game. Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket has live coverage.

First pitch is set for 1pm at Mansfield Stadium in Bangor.

Bangor(15-2) is coming off a 6-0 quarterfinal win over Brunswick. The Rams have all of their starting pitching eligible for the Eagles. The likely starter is Trevor Delaite.

Messalonskee(14-3) is coming off a 12-0 quarterfinal win over Oxford Hills. Josh Joys fired a one-hitter and that means senior Nick Mayo is likely to start against the Rams. Mayo is the 6-foot-8 senior who is headed to Eastern Kentucky on a basketball scholarship.

The teams met just once earlier in the spring - Messalonskee won that game 8-6.

The other Class A semi-final is for 7pm as #3 Brewer hosts #7 Mt.Blue.
