Prices at the Pump Are Going Up
As the temperatures fall, the price of gas in New England is on the rise.
Website GasBuddy.com shows that the average retail price of gas in Maine went up 3.8 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.25.
Prices at the pump also went up 3.1 cents in New Hampshire, to $2.15 a gallon. In Vermont, they rose 3.2 cents, to $2.27.
The national average went up 4.4 cents a gallon this past week to $2.18 and now stands 14.1 cents per gallon higher than a year ago.
