With the high school sports season in the rear view mirror, the Portland Press Herald announced their all-state team which includes several players from Eastern Maine.The team which is comprised of players from class A programs includes two members of the Bangor Rams State Championship team as both first baseman Andrew Hillier and junior pitcher Trevor Delaite were selected. UMaine bound Gage Feeney was selected as a utility player while Mr. Baseball award winner Eric Hoogterp was picked as the shortstop.

South Portland senior pitcher Henry Curran was tabbed by the Herald as their Player of the Year.
