Presque Isle Fire Department to Hold Open House

Are your little ones curious about fire trucks and fire safety? Well you're in luck!

The Presque Isle Fire Department will hold an Open House on Saturday, October 11th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.so the little ones can check things out and see for themselves.

There will be K-9 Arson demonstrations with the Fire Marshall’s Office, the Maine Forest Service Helicopter will be on site, and Freddy the Fire Truck and Sprinkler the Clown will be there as well.

And of course, the Presque Isle Fire Department will have trucks on display as well.

There will be child safety seat checks too.

There will even be a free hot dog roast for the public!

The Open House is a great chance to learn some additional fire safety tips and to have your family meet your local firefighters.

The first 100 kids through the door will be building wood kits with Lowe’s Representatives.
