The Presque Isle Downtown Revitalization Committee (PIDRC) is pleased to announce that Griffeth Honda has come on board as a major sponsor of the summer concert series.  This donation will allow the downtown group to expand the concert series to include three “Sundays by the Stream” and three “Mondays on Main” concerts.

“This donation is a wonderful way to for Griffeth Honda to show its support of downtown.  We are a downtown business and are proud of Presque Isle and all of the contributions made to this community by Neil Griffeth,” said Shawn Huston, Sales Manager of Griffeth Honda.

The concert series began last year with musical acts performing on just a couple of Sunday afternoons.  This year, the Sunday concerts will be held beginning at 3:00 p.m. at the new Public Market Pavilion along Riverside Drive.  Sunday concerts will be held on June 12 (Presque Isle Bossa Quintet), July 10 (Passerine), and August 14 (Shawn Byrne).  In addition, three Monday concerts will be held along Main Street beginning at 7:00 p.m. on June 20 (The Brad Hutchinson Project), July 18 (Wally & the Virginians), and August 22 (Sound Friendships).  All concerts are free to the public.  Also, Farm Credit East is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year and will be offering a free concert at the Pavilion on Friday, August 5 (band to be announced at a later date).  The free concert will begin around 6:30 p.m.
