Presque Isle Area Job Fair on Wednesday, April 9th

The Presque Isle CareerCenter and Northern Maine Development Commission are co-sponsoring a job fair on Wednesday, April 9th at the Northeastland Hotel.  It runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Job fair attendees should bring multiple copies of their resumé and be prepared for a job interview.

Participating employers in Wednesday's fair include: U.S. Border Patrol, Care and Comfort, Manpower, TEMPO, Lane Construction, Maine State Police, ABLE, Home Care for Maine, Caribou Vet Center, Townsquare Media, the Northern Lighthouse, Wal-Mart, Irving Woodlands, Ecoshel, Project Flagging, Columbia Forest, Acme Monaco, Northern Maine General, Sears, the Department of Health and Human Services, the Aroostook Medical Center, R.H. Foster and Lowe's.

CareerCenters, part of the Maine Department of Labor, offer a variety of services to help people find employment or upgrade skills. All  services are free of charge.
