This year is another great year for potatoes and this fundraising supports Challenger Learning Center’s mission to inspire Maine students in science and math.

Win Win.

You get beautiful potatoes. Challenger gets to promote STEM education.

Cost is $25 for a 50 pound bag. If you buy two the price drops to $20 per 50 pound bag.  And if you would like you can donate the second bag to the Salvation Army. Challenger will deliver the potatoes to the Salvation Army in Bangor.

You will have your potatoes before Thanksgiving.

The pickup date is Friday, November 17th between 1 and 6 p.m. at The Challenger Learning Center, 30 Venture Way in Bangor.

This fundraiser benefits Challenger's mission to bring STEM programming to Maine students, and helps provide food donations for our local Salvation Army of Bangor.  It is a great way to give locally this season and the 50 lbs bags are a great price.

That's according to Kirsten Hibbard, executive director of Challenger Learning Center of Maine.

Potatoes are a beautiful thing. Nutritious and Delicious. And a basic staple that are comparatively very cost effective.

Are you convinced to get a bag or two?

This year’s potatoes come from Irving Farms in Caribou, Maine.
