The driver and lone occupant of the truck, a 47-year-old man from Drummond, was transported to the Grand Falls General Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries, Godin said.

A witness described the ATV driver as a young man wearing a black, full-face helmet and black jacket. He reportedly did not stop at the scene of the crash. The ATV is described as a green four wheeler.
