Pit Crew Member Killed at Southern Maine Racetrack

Police are investigating after an accident claimed the life of a man at a racetrack in Southern Maine over the weekend.

Police say the accident happened after the races were over late Saturday night at Beach Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough, Maine.

Police say 47-year-old Gregory Rowe of Standish, who was a member of a pit crew, was killed after falling off the back of a pickup truck and was run over by a trailer in tow.
