Fall is a beautiful time of year here in Aroostook County, especially right now with fall foliage colors at peak.

Not only is the County at peak conditions, but the western part of the state is as well, according to the weekly fall foliage report that came out yesterday.

The eastern part of the state from Calais to Bar Harbor is reporting 75 percent to 100 percent toward peak.

The scenery is beautiful as there are still plenty of colorful leaves left on trees for your viewing pleasure, as the leaf drop is still relatively low.
