The Red Sox got behind the Seattle Mariners 7-0, only to come back and tie it in the ninth inning, only to lose the game in the 12th inning by a 10-8 score.

What a Sunday afternoon at Fenway.

Rookie Henry Owens was making his Fenway debut and he set history by doing something no other Sox pitcher has done - pitch 6 innings, strike out 10, give up 10 hits and at least 7 runs.

The Mariners hit four home runs. The Sox hit two. (Bogaerts, Castillo)

The Sox could have had a walk-off win in the ninth but David Ortiz was thrown out at the plate trying to score from second base on a Travis Shaw hit.

The M's eventually scored twice in the 12th off Craig Breslow to win it.
