It was everything you could want in an NCAA playoff game unless your the Husson Eagles who came up short against MIT 27-20 in overtime.MIT used great clock management down the stretch to force overtime. With no timeouts and only 18 seconds on the clock, they completed a pass and got their field goal unit on the field for the game tying 38 yard field goal by Tucker Cheyne as time expired.

In overtime MIT got the ball and scored on a 13 yard pass by Peter Williams who threw for 291 yards on the day and 2 touchdowns.

Husson failed to score on their overtime possession as a Seccereccia pass fell incomplete on fourth down. Freshman running back John Smith carried the load for the Eagles with 264 yards on 52 carries.

The Eagles finish the season with a program best 8-2 record.
