The RCMP in New Brunswick are investigating after a series of thefts from vehicles in Oromocto, Burton and Lincoln that have occurred over the past few weeks.

Cpl. Jim Christensen of the Oromocto RCMP says over 30 vehicles in those areas have been broken into and items have been stolen since Friday, April 26th. Stolen items include purses, wallets, cell phones, electronic devices, money and a passport. One vehicle was also stolen, but has since been recovered.

The investigation continues.

Cpl. Christensen reminds people to continue to lock their doors to avoid being burglarized.
