If you have yet to snowmobile in the county, then you are missing out on one of the things that make living in northern Maine worth it. We have some of the best trails, bar none.

Not long ago, Snogoer Magazine rated the county as one of the top 10 places to sled in the country. And there are many reasons why.

Our snowmobile clubs do an awesome job at grooming our trails. Not only do they groom, or drag, over 14,000 miles of trails, but there are road signs, stop signs and caution signs to keep you safe and guide you on the trail.

And if that wasn't enough, keep in mind that the trails will take you to local restaurants, pubs, rest stops, hotels, gas stations and hot spots to sit back and relax with friends along your journey.

It's just like you are cruising along a mini highway in America. They do a fabulous job.

If you do go out, make sure you take a map along. The snowmobile clubs also have maps available, so that you don't lose your way.
