The Old Town Coyotes win their first regional baseball title in 23 years. The PVHS Howlers win their first regional title in school history.

Old Town scored a 2-0 win over Hermon. Senior pitcher Kaleb Gifford pitched a complete game two-hitter.

The Coyotes scored their two runs in the 5th inning on a fielder choice play and a throwing error.

Old Town meets Freeport, a 3-1 winner over Cape Elizabeth, in the state title game on Saturday.

In Class D, the Penobscot Valley HS Howlers scored their first ever regional title in basebal, a 3-2 win over Fort Fairfield.

PVHS managed just two hits but came up with two runs in the bottom of the 6th inning to pull ahead of the Tigers.

The Howlers get Searsport in the state championship game. Searsport beat Valley HS 6-2 for the South Region title.
