November 2nd Supper & Auction for Madelyn Grace

If you've ever been a prospective parent you know that all you really ever ask for is a healthy baby.  For Jon Humphrey and Janelle Gagnon it's not working out much like they'd hoped.  Their daughter, Madelyn Grace, is due to arrive the week of Thanksgiving and then the uphill journey really begins. 

During a routine ultrasound, Jon and Janelle learned that Madelyn had Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome.  It's a congenital condition where some of the parts in the left side of the heart are underdeveloped.  Because of this, Madelyn Grace will require open heart surgery immediately after she is born, followed by several more surgeries before she's a toddler. 

Friends and family have put together a spaghetti supper and live auction to help support this family in their fight to keep Madelyn Grace healthy.  It will be held at the Presque Isle Elk's Lodge on Saturday, November 2nd.  Tickets are $8 for Adults, $5 for kids and are available at the P.I.
