Prices at the gas pump have risen slightly in the Northeast.

Gasoline website, GasBuddy.com,  says in its weekly survey of gas stations in New England, the average price of a gallon of gas here in Maine rose up 4.4 cents in the past week to $2.29..In Presque Isle, the average price was $2.39 a gallon.

Pump prices in New Hampshire also rose, but only by 2.9 cents to $2.22 a gallon. And in Vermont, stations reported an average increase of just a penny to $2.30 a gallon

The national average also went up by 2.1 cents to $2.27 a gallon. That's 1.4 cents cheaper than a month ago, but 11.7 cents higher than at this time last year.
