New Recycling Program for Used Batteries in New Brunswick
New Brunswick residents now have an easy way to discard their old household batteries, through the first large-scale battery recycling program in Atlantic Canada.
The province has partnered with the non-profit group Call2Recycle Canada to set up drop off points at retailers, businesses and municipalities.
Batteries weighing under five kilograms will be collected for recycling at 150 sites around New Brunswick.
Most Canadian Tire are participating, along with several out businesses and communities. To find a drop off point near you, click the Call2Recycle locator.
