Matthew Linus Tucker of Oak Haven appeared in St. Stephen Provincial Court Friday morning.  He is accused of killing his mother, 53-year-old Dorothy Tucker.

RCMP say Dorothy Tucker was reported missing on November 10 from her home in Oak Haven. An extensive search was conducted over ten days in an attempt to locate her. On Thursday afternoon, two hunters called police to say they had discovered a body in St. David Ridge, just northwest of Oak Haven. The body has been identified as that of Dorothy Tucker.  The investigation is continuing.

Matthew Tucker remains in custody pending his next court appearance on December 17.
