New $100 Bills to be Released Today

As they say, "it's all about the Benjamins, Baby!" That's right, new $100 bills will be released to circulation in the U.S. as of tomorrow, even in the midst of a government shutdown.

It's been in the works for some time that the Federal Reserve Board would release the redesigned $100 note that will begin circulating today.

The new and improved $100 bill incorporates new security features like a blue, 3-D security ribbon, that will make it easier for the public to authenticate but more difficult for counterfeiters to replicate.
