National Police Week Honors Law Enforcement, May 13th – May 19th

National Police Week is May 13th - May 19th & May 15th is Police Memorial Day. It honors those in law enforcement who have paid the ultimate sacrifice. It also pays respect to the current men and women who wear the uniform and badge.

The week is dedicated to honoring America's law enforcement community. President John F. Kennedy designated May 15th as Peace Officers Memorial Day and the week as Police Week in 1962.
