New ABC Show ‘Nashville’ Delivers Hot Country Music, Drama, and Glamour to the Small Screen [VIDEO]

For months now I have seen promos for ABC’s new TV drama - ‘Nashville’ but I wasn’t convinced the show would be a smash hit.

Late last night after I got tired from flipping through the TV channels I decided to check out Hulu and see if I can find something new to watch. There it was - ‘Nashville’ promo flashing at me, promising drama! My curiosity won over - I had to check it out.

The show follows the lives of two country music divas - Rayna Jame (Connie Britton) and Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panetierre). One was country music’s brightest star and the other one is the future of country music. The show exploits their professional and personal relationships.

The two characters seem believable. Britton’s character is married with two kids, somewhat struggling financially after her husband has made some questionable investment choices.

On the other hand Panetierre’s character is bratty, spoiled even, but yet innocent - she is dealing with a heroin addicted mother who only calls her when she needs money.

The two ladies are pressured by their record label to work together, but because of their dislike for each other such collaboration seems unlikely.

Whether you are a country music fan or not - don’t rush to dismiss this new TV show - because it has some serious potential to stick around for several strong seasons.
