UMaine hockey got two ties at the Ice Breaker Tournament in Portland and that was good enough to get a few votes in the USCHO national poll.

North Dakota, one of the teams the Black Bears tied, is now the #1 team in this week's poll.

Michigan State, the other team Maine tied, is ranked #21.

The Black Bears garnered 5 votes, good for #36 in the country.

Maine heads to Union College for a weekend series beginning Friday night.
