The driver, 23-year-old Adam Mullings, of New York, lost control of the vehicle on the slippery roads, striking a utility pole. Mullings was initially trapped in the 2013 Chevy Silverado, but was able to get out of the truck when Trooper Bell arrived on scene.

Luckily, Mullings escaped serious injury despite his truck snapping a telephone pole at the base and coming to rest on its side against a stand of trees.

The truck was severely damaged. Mullings did not need medical attention.
