Moncton Man Killed, Child Injured in Two-Vehicle Collision
A 29-year-old man from Moncton has died and a 4-year-old girl was seriously injured following a crash Tuesday evening in Irishtown.
RCMP responded at approximately 5:25 p.m. to a report of a collision involving a pickup truck and a car on Route 115, according to Cpl. Chantal Ouellette of the Riverview Detachment.
The driver of the car died as a result of the injuries he sustained in the crash, RCMP said.
A 4-year-old girl, who was a passenger in the car, was taken to Moncton City Hospital and was later transported to the IWK Health Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Ouelette said the driver of the second vehicle sustained non-life threatening injuries.
