One person has been charged with drug trafficking and two others have been arrested following a police search of a home in Lower Coverdale, N.B.

Codiac Regional RCMP executed a search warrant at a home on Route 114 on October 12, according to Sgt. Louis Robichaud. Police say they seized an undisclosed quantity of cannabis and what is believed to be cocaine, methamphetamine and hydromorphone, as well as a firearm and stolen property.

A 47-year-old Moncton man, who was arrested at the residence, appeared in Moncton Provincial Court on October 16.

Michael Hayes was charged with three counts of drug trafficking, two counts of possession of stolen property over $5000, one count of possession of stolen property under $5000, and one count each of possession of cannabis and unsafe storage of a firearm. He was released by a judge until his next court appearance, on November 20.

A 20-year-old Sackville woman and a 33-year-old Saint John man were also arrested at the residence and released with a promise to appear in Moncton Provincial Court on January 21, 2019.
