Police Search For Suspects in Break-in at Caribou Store

Caribou Police are investigating a burglary at a local convenience store and are asking for information from the public.

At 10:41 p.m. Saturday, Caribou Police Department received a call of an alarm going off at Mike’s Quick Stop on the Presque Isle Road (Route 1) in Caribou. This occurred shortly after closing time.

Caribou Police arrived to find the glass front door was shattered and someone had entered the store. Officers gathered evidence at the scene and have been working since to identify possible suspects.

Laura Adams of the Caribou PD on Tuesday called it a "very active investigation." Police did not disclose details or the value of items allegedly stolen in Saturday night's break-in.
