Michaud Praises UMPI & UMFK on Top Ranking in Helping Veterans Succeed

Two Universities in Aroostook County got some serious recognition today.

Today, Representative Mike Michaud praised the University of Maine at Presque Isle and the University of Maine at Fort Kent for being named top-ranked schools by U.S. News and World Report in helping veterans and members of the military apply, pay for and complete their degrees.

Michaud said “Many of Maine’s institutions of higher education excel at helping our veterans get the most out of their education, but both of these schools have gone above and beyond to serve those who served all of us. I congratulate them on this much-deserved recognition and encourage them to keep it up. Our service members need great school like these when they come home.”

UMFK ranked #11 on the list, while UMPI came in at #12.
