Meth Pills Seized After Traffic Stop Near Grand Falls
RCMP say a traffic stop earlier this week near Saint-André, N.B. has resulted in the seizure of methamphetamine pills.
Police stopped a vehicle on Route 17 near Saint-André on Monday morning. After a search of the vehicle, a quantity of methamphetamine pills were seized and two men were arrested.
A 27-year-old man and a 25-year-old man, both from Grand Falls, were arrested for being in the possession of the pills for the purpose of trafficking. Both men were later released on conditions and are scheduled to appear in Grand Falls Provincial Court at a later date.
The investigation continues.
